The Ethiopian scientist who computerized Ethiopic in the 80's Print E-mail

 

On the 40th anniversary of the invention of the mobile phone, Deutsche Welle Amharic Program interviewed Dr. Aberra Molla, the Ethiopian scientists who computerized Ethiopic in the 80's. Dr. Aberra has pending patents for renderring the more than 564 Ethiopic glyphs on computers with one and two keystrokes each, virtually like typing the English alphabet.
